How To Apply

Richmond in Reach (“Need-Based” Aid)

To apply for need-based aid for the 2008-09 school year through Richmond in Reach, complete these three steps (none of which requires a fee):

  1. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may submit the FAFSA form online or obtain a paper copy from the Financial Aid Office. This completed application must be submitted to the federal processor (the form will tell you how to do so) on or before the University of Richmond’s deadline date of May 15, 2008.
  2. Complete the University of Richmond Financial Aid Supplemental Application. The Supplemental Application should be submitted directly to the Financial Aid Office by May 15, 2008.
  3. Submit signed copies of 2007 federal tax returns (all pages and schedules) and W-2 forms to the Financial Aid Office by May 15, 2008.
