Use these forms for the 2008-2009 School Year (Summer 2008, Fall 2008, Spring 2009)
The 2008-09 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the primary application for all students for need-based aid as well as for Federal Direct Loans for the 2008-09 school year. The deadline is February 15, 2008 for prospective students; May 15, 2008 for current students. (The form may be submitted after these deadlines for Federal Direct Loans only.)
The 2008-09 Richmond in Reach Financial Aid Supplemental Application is required for all undergraduate applicants (except SCS) for need-based aid as well as for Federal Direct Loans for the 2008-09 school year. Prospective students, click here. Current students, click here. The deadline is February 15, 2008 for prospective students; May 15, 2008 for current students. (The form may be submitted after these deadlines for Federal Direct Loans only.)
The Summer 2008 Federal Direct Loan Application should be completed by students who want to apply for a Direct Loan for summer 2008 (summer sessions).
The 2008-09 Academic Year Federal Direct Loan Application should be completed by students who want to apply for a Direct Loan for the Fall and Spring terms of the 2008-09 academic year.
The 2008-09 Academic Year Federal Direct Grad PLUS Loan Application should be submitted by graduate and law students who want to apply for a loan in addition to the Federal Direct Loan for students. The Grad PLUS loan is an alternative to other private loans available from lenders to support educational expenses.
The 2008-09 Federal Direct Parent (PLUS) Loan Application should be submitted by parents who want to apply for a parent loan for their undergraduate student for the 2008-09 school year.
The Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant (VTAG) is available to full-time, degree seeking students who are Virginia residents. The VTAG application must be submitted by July 31, 2008.
