The Bonner Scholars Program (BSP) provides access to education and opportunities to serve through a four-year scholarship awards to students with a sustained record of service and a high level of financial need. A diverse group of approximately 100 students currently participates in the BSP at the University of Richmond, making it the largest BSP in the country. Find out more about the BSP and how to apply.

Scholarships
All first-year, degree-seeking applicants, including Fall Early Decision, Winter Early Decision, and Regular Decision applicants, are eligible for merit scholarship consideration. Merit scholarships are awarded to the most outstanding applicants. Transfer students are not eligible for scholarships listed here, but can apply for need-based financial aid.

Presidential Scholarship
The University of Richmond awards merit-based Presidential Scholarships of up to $15,000 to students who have achieved outstanding high school records in a highly rigorous curriculum and superior standardized test scores.
The scholarships are renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters of full-time enrollment. All admission applicants are considered; therefore, no separate application is required.

National Merit Scholarship
National Merit Finalists who are admitted and identify the University of Richmond as their first-choice school with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation are eligible for this award. If they are not selected for a National Merit Scholarship from another sponsor, they may be selected for a National Merit Scholarship from the University of Richmond. These awards range from $750 to $2,000 per year and are renewable for up to eight semesters of undergraduate study.
Students must apply for admission by January 15 of the senior year. All eligible admission applicants are considered; therefore, no separate application is required. National Merit Finalists are strongly considered for the Presidential Scholarships as well.

National Achievement and National Hispanic Scholarships
National Achievement Finalists who are admitted and not selected for another National Achievement award as well as National Hispanic Scholars who are admitted may be selected for awards ranging from $750 to $2,000 per year. These awards are renewable for up to eight semesters of undergraduate study.
Students must apply for admission by January 15 of the senior year. All eligible admission applicants are considered; therefore, no separate application is required. National Achievement Finalists and National Hispanic Scholars are strongly considered for the Presidential Scholarships as well.

Davis United World College Scholars
Anyone who graduates from one of the United World Colleges (UWC) is eligible to receive a Davis grant of up to $20,000 toward educational costs at the University of Richmond. These grants are renewable for four years and are based on need.
UWC graduates are strongly encouraged to apply for the Richmond Scholars Program and the Bonner Scholars Program, where they could combine funds with the Davis UWC Scholarship up to the total cost of attendance.
UWC Graduates who are non-U.S. citizens and who demonstrate eligibility for additional need-based aid are also considered for the limited need-based funds available to international students.

Army ROTC
Recipients of Army ROTC scholarships are selected by U.S. Army Cadet Command to receive full tuition each year plus an annual $1,200 book allowance for full-time undergraduate study at the University of Richmond.

Music and Theatre/Dance Scholarships
