Applies to summer 2013, fall 2013, and spring 2014 academic terms.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Description
Application for federal need-based aid and Federal Direct Loans.

Submit the 2013–14 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the Federal Processor.  Our FAFSA Code is 003744. 

Deadlines
  • Prospective undergraduates (except SPCS): February 15, 2013
  • Prospective law students: February 25, 2013
  • Returning law students and undergraduates (except SPCS): May 15, 2013 (submit by March 1, 2013 if attending summer session)
  • SPCS & graduate students: Six weeks prior to start of term
CSS PROFILE
Description
Application for institutional need-based aid for prospective and returning undergraduates (except SCS).

Submit the 2013-2014 CSS PROFILE to the College Board. Our PROFILE Code is 5569.

Deadlines
  • Prospective undergraduates (except SPCS): February 15, 2013
  • Returning undergraduates (except SPCS): May 15, 2013 (submit by March 1, 2013 if attending summer session)
Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant (VTAG) Application
Description
Application for a grant from the Commonwealth of Virginia for full-time, degree-seeking undergraduates who are Virginia residents. Students currently receiving VTAG do not need to reapply.

Application for the 2013-14 Federal Direct Grad PLUS Loan for graduate and law students for the academic year.

Federal Direct Parent Loan (PLUS) Application
Description
Application for a 2013-14 Academic Year Federal Direct PLUS Loan for parents of undergraduate students.
Deadline
At least six weeks prior to the start of the academic year.
Summer Federal Direct Loan Application
Description
The 2013 Summer Federal Direct Loan Application should be completed by students who want to apply for a Direct Loan for summer session 2013. 
Deadline
At least six weeks prior to the start of the student's summer enrollment.
