Applying for Financial Aid

Applying for Financial Aid

The University of Richmond prides itself on having some of the best financial aid resources anywhere and helping students and their families understand the aid process.

Richmond promises to meet 100% of demonstrated need for every admitted student and we don’t consider financial need when making admission decisions for U.S. citizens and permanent residents who enter as first year students.

First Year Applicants

All first-year applicants — regardless of need-based aid eligibility — are considered for merit-based aid, including full-tuition scholarships and a variety of interest-based programs.
