Applying for Financial Aid

Applying for Financial Aid

The University of Richmond prides itself on having some of the best financial aid resources anywhere — and helping students and their families understand the aid process.

Richmond promises to meet 100% of demonstrated need for every admitted student — and we don’t consider financial need when making admission decisions for U.S. citizens and permanent residents who enter as first year students.

First Year Applicants

All first-year applicants — regardless of need-based aid eligibility — are considered for merit-based aid, including full-tuition scholarships and a variety of interest-based programs.
