UR-based Short-term Abroad Program as part of an Academic Course
Short-term abroad programs, as part of an academic course, are offered by some academic departments and typically last from one to three weeks. Most take place during one of the breaks during the academic year. These short-term programs provide real-world illustrations of points made in class. An example would be the annual spring break visit to financial houses in London, an experience that is part of an Accounting course. Students would apply to take part in the trip by registering for the class.
Additional costs, for the short-term abroad program, may be covered by educational loans. For more information, contact the Office of Financial Aid.
