Program for Students from the City of Richmond
The University of Richmond meets the full demonstrated financial need of all enrolled/enrolling graduates of Richmond Public School (RPS) and public magnet school graduates through grant and scholarship aid. In order to be considered for this program students must:
- Have graduated from a Richmond Public School or public magnet school (CodeRVA and Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School) located in the City of Richmond
- Be admitted or enrolled as a full-time degree-seeking student in an undergraduate program in the School of Arts & Sciences, Jepson School of Leadership Studies, or Robins School of Business
- Submit all financial aid application materials by the financial aid application deadline
- Demonstrate financial need based on Richmond’s need analysis policy
- Meet the standards for Satisfactory Academic Progress (if currently enrolled)
While we will meet full demonstrated financial need through federal, state, and University grant aid, which does not require repayment, students who qualify for federal student aid may still have the option to also accept Federal Direct Loans to assist with other educational expenses up to the Cost of Attendance.
