Need-Based Aid

All Professional and Continuing Studies degree and certificate programs are eligible for financial aid consideration, except for the Certificate in Information Security and the leadership certificate programs. To be considered for Federal Direct Loans and/or the Federal Pell Grant, students must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at least six weeks prior to the start of the term in order for funding to be available by the time classes begin. We cannot determine a student's eligibility for financial aid until the student has registered.

Federal Pell grants are available to students who have not previously received a bachelor's degree and who are enrolled in an undergraduate degree or certificate program for at least three credit hours per term. You must qualify for a Pell Grant under the federal need analysis formula.

Federal Direct Loans are available to eligible students enrolled at least six credit hours per term.
